Bathroom - waiting for the water to be turned off then out it all goes!
We had a big day yesterday. Architect Dad and I started the demolition of the downstairs flat. The tenant moved out before Christmas so it gave us free reign to get started.
It was all relatively straight forward with the exception of the stubborn floor vinyl in the kitchen and bathroom. The top layers were easy to peel off, however it came down to hard shovel work to get the last brittle layer off. I'm certainly feeling it today...
We'll be back to it tomorrow to remove the Gib board off the walls and ceilings.
Then repeat the same operation in the upstairs flat the following weekend - the project is going to have a sense of deja vu, isn't it? Do it once and then do it again...
